The Actor’s Morning Routine; Made In heaven 2

He’s a good kind of crazy, and so is his daily routine

There’s nothing conventional about Jim Sarbh, both on and off-screen. The roles he chooses are as alternative as his audacious personality. Take for instance, the fact that he doesn’t wear cologne because, “Why would I want to smell like someone else?” As he rides high on the success of Made in Heaven 2, we get a little too close to the actor.

What’s the first thing that you do when you wake up?

Jim Sarbh: I wake up, life beckons. I hit snooze. Two snoozes later, I creak into some light stretching. My 35-year-old back speaks to me, ‘Good morning, b****.’ Perhaps today is the day for better posture. I chug some water. I put some (other) water to boil. I wash my face, and while I brush my teeth I make coffee. I slap on some moisturiser, with a dehydrated vengeance. ‘Take that eye puffs.’ Drink coffee. Evacuate bowels. Then I hope my first appointment cancels.

Toothpaste: Crest 3D White.

Razor: Phillips One Blade

Day and night fragrances

JS: I don’t wear cologne. Why would I want to smell like someone else?

What does breakfast look like?

JS: I don’t eat breakfast. My system doesn’t need anything else slowing it down in the morning. All my blood is barely making it to my brain, I can’t have it tied up in my stomach.

What’s your workout routine like?

JS: These days, per week, ideally: 3 days yoga 2-3 times, football 3-4 times and weight training.

Different news portals you check out in the morning

JS: Onto Twitter for news, Doomscrolling, Arseblog and Gunnerblog podcasts for arsenal updates And RK’s YouTube channel.

Morning music

JS: Sometimes I wake up with a song in my head. I listen to that song, and then wherever it leads. Today, it was ‘King Of The Road’ by Roger Miller. Yesterday it was, ‘Sexy M.F.’ by Prince.

What are you currently reading?

JS: ‘The Savage Detectives’ by Roberto Bolano.

Three things we’ll always find on your nightstand.
